The Final Results

The Loebker football pool is now complete! And as it turns out a Loebker is neither in first or second place. Kevin had another astounding week, winning all four of his games. Even his Green Bay beat Chicago. Stephanie had two losses, but it was still enough to sail past Dave into slot number two. Dave snagged the third place spot. Toby came in fourth, Dad came in fifth, Dan came in sixth, and Scott came in seventh. In last place (the most important place in my mind) am I. I have strategically planned all year my big win in 2007 by picking the stinkiest teams I could possibly find. Many thanks to the Bengals, Redskins, Falcons, and especially the Raiders for my awesomely low score.

Hopefully Dad will be having a football party for the Super Bowl where we can collect dues from the losers and hand it over to the winners. More details to come.

With one week left, Kevin takes over the #1 position

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Kevin has taken over #1 leaving Dave and Stephanie tied for #2. I have been keeping the last place spot safe getting zero points again.

The genius of the football trifecta

Someone should take the numbers 1 -6 -5 and bet them on the pick three this week. This week our three leaders are tied for first place with 165 points. Kevin won all four of his games, gaining major ground. Dave and Stephanie can no longer rest on their laurels. Also, with the Bengals' sensational loss to the Colts yesterday, my race for last is looking promising. I no longer have to share my victory with Scott.

Keep getting those points in! Don't forget those Thursday and Saturday games as well. Merry Christmas!

Dave holds on to the number 1 position again

Because Dave and Stephanie both got 9 points each, the first and second placers remain the same. Kevin won 3 of his 4 games again and gained 14 points to nab the 3rd place position. The big story this week is Scott trying to steal my last place victory. He has tied me for last with 117. (I need 1st pick!!!) Don't forget your Thursday night games.

Dave has upset the number 1 position

Sorry for the tardiness! I have been trying to finish up school this week and I don't have too much time for football, but next week will be better-I promise. Anyway, don't forget there is a game tonight (Thursday) so get your picks in!!! Also, watch out for Dave-we can't let him get a first place victory two years in a row.
