Oh Yeah, Houshmandzadeh!!!

That's pronounced (whosyourmomma)

I thought that I was going to make the final surge last night, but the Falcons must have been paid handsomely by the city of New Orleans to take a fall. So I'm not going to count that loss and in my mind I"m #1.

At least the Bengals pulled though. No thanks to Carson Palmer. Lots of thanks can go to the stupid mistakes of the Steelers (taunting and excessive celebration penalties and my favorite, a fumbled ball 10 yards from the end zone)
and of course T.J. Houshmandzadeh for a really great end zone catch.

Either way, I'm only 1 point behind Dave who's in first place (but like I said before - that game had to be rigged). I'm still #1 in the yahoo picks. I hope you guys all feel bad losing to a girl. Good luck catching me! Who's Your Momma?

Week Two Error

Dave informed me that I made an error. His points were incorrectly allocated. Everything should be fixed on the sheet above. Let me know if you find any other errors.

Week Two Results!

Since the Bengals won again and I'm still on top of the Yahoo pick 'ems, I'm feeling pretty good. I'll let bygones be bygones with the convict cranky McGrumpus. Anyway, last night's game really shocked me. I had a slight notion that the Steelers were going to lose, but I never thought it would be that bad. Things are looking up for the Bengals game next week. Either that or Jacksonville is really awesome this year. Here's an awesome shot of Chad Johnson catching that touchdown.

Anyway, Toby came back from the dead this week gaining 18 points, but Stephanie stole the 1st place spot away from Kevin thanks in part to that crazy 49ers victory over the Rams. Everyone still has a chance at winning though. Here's the breakdown:

Stephanie (24)
Dave (22)
Ann (21)
Dan (21)
Kevin (20)
Toby (18)
Scott (18)
Ray (16)

And here's my sheet.

If you see this man, approach carefully - He is considered armed and very cantankerous!!!

This guy hates my blog, so if you see him give him a punch or at least give him a hard time. (Stay away from the knee though, that would make him cry)

Anyway, the first week is over and there were a lot of surprises! I never thought the Broncos would lose to the Rams. I think Toby is taking over the curse from Scott.

Since the old guy doesn't understand that you can click on the image below to enlarge it, I will spell it out for him.

1st- Kevin (14pts)
2nd-Scott (13pts)
3rd- Ann (12pts)
4th - Dad (12pts) (no -I will not share 3rd place)
5th - Dan (11pts)
6th - Stephanie (10pts)
7th - Dave (8pts)
8th -Toby (0 points) :(

Congratulations to the new guy!!! Keep up the good work Kevin. Although I'm taking you down when the Bengals play the Steelers!

Have a great week and don't forget to get your picks to me anyway you can by Sunday. (email, phone, blog comment, smoke signals, etc.)

P.S. For any of you doing the Yahoo Picks-check out who's number 1. I think we should all quit now and declare me queen of football.

Also, if you have any comments or general rantings - go ahead and leave them. We love controversy. Any questions can be directed to me at annbrauer@excite.com. Good Luck (and go Bengals!)
